How’s your day going? Have you got a full list of things to do? Are you staying busy? Well, that’s good. We are supposed to ‘labor while it is day.’ However, no matter what is on your schedule, be sure to follow this example from Christ.

“Yet the news about [Christ] spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” (Luke 5:15-16)

Nothing that you have to do today is more important than spending time with God. Solitude, meditation, and prayer are healthy, calming, help keep us plugged in to our source of strength. Don’t let Satan convince you that you are too busy for God. Often withdraw to a lonely place and pray. I think you’ll find that a day that includes time with God will be more productive than a day crammed with ‘to-dos’.

How about right now? Will you give 10 minutes to God starting right now?
