During the Summit Youth Rally we will have a bunch of visitors from out-of-town come stay for the weekend. Many of them would like to attend the rally, but can’t afford to get hotel rooms for the weekend. Can you open your home for a couple nights to some chaperones and youths? Here is some information to help you prepare to be a housing host:

  • Groups staying in housing are required to have at least one adult chaperone stay in each home that they use. Housing hosts will not be given any teens without an adult in the group.
  • Housing will be needed for Friday & Saturday nights. Each evening, groups will be going to their housing between 9-9:30pm and leaving between 8-8:45am the following mornings.
  • Most groups will be able to drive themselves to their housing hosts, however some may need help with transportation. Please note below whether you can give a ride to some folks.
  • Housing will not be co-ed. It will either be all boys or all girls in a house. If you require to house one or the other, please note that below.
  • You will not need to feed your group. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the church building and dinner will be the responsibility of the group. If you would like to have a few snacks on hand, that would be good, but you will not need to prepare any meals.
  • If you can provide beds, great! But couches and soft spots on the floor can work well too.

Thank you for providing a place for our guests to stay!!
