Women in the Bible have had significant roles in the plan of God. Eve, Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Leah, Jochebed, Miriam, Rahab, Deborah, Delilah, Ruth, Hannah, Bathsheba, Esther, Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, and Mary Magdalene all have had important parts to play in how God’s providence intervened in the lives of His people. May we never think that women don’t have anything to do with God’s plan. May we never think that women today don’t play a significant part in the church and especially here at NHCOC.
A thriving women’s ministry is so important and healthy for the church. Here at NHCOC, we can see the impact that our ladies have on our day-to-day lives within the church. They may not hold leadership positions, but they lead by example on how to make a difference in other people’s lives and continue to be an encouragement to each other and the whole church. May God continue to bless us with women who want to work and serve the Lord.
I am excited to see how the Ladies’ Day NHCOC is hosting tomorrow will play a significant role in God’s plan for the church here in Batesville and the impact that we can have globally.
LADIES: Make plans to be here tomorrow for “ANCHORED IN HOPE – SOARING IN FAITH.” It begins at 8:30 am with a light breakfast and a time of fellowship and registration. There will be bible teaching, singing, prayers, crafts, and great fellowship. Lunch will also be provided. Wanda Knabe is the keynote speaker and she will inspire and encourage all those in attendance as they dive deeper into the hope and faith we have in Christ.
MEN: Be praying for our ladies. Pray that the Lord will bless their time together and that we can lead our homes and church in a way that all our people grow closer to the Lord and to each other.
If you have any questions about NHCOC Ladies’ Day 2025 ask Kira Mills, Lauren Martin, or Alex McClain.
