Sometimes, when a sinner is confronted with his crime, the sinner will try to make excuses, arguing that he didn’t have a choice. “It wasn’t my fault. I don’t know how it happened…it just happened!”

Nope. No. Nonono no.

You always have a choice. The Devil doesn’t have control over your mind and body any more than you allow him to have. You can let the Devil be your master but he can’t impose himself into your life. That’s on you.

Yes, sin is everywhere, and yes there is a multitude of ways and reasons and opportunities to turn against God. But in the end, you have to make the choice. In order to sin, you have to turn—mind and body—away from God and to the Devil.

Don’t.

Don’t give the Devil a win. He wants your soul, but he doesn’t deserve your soul. He didn’t make your soul. He didn’t die for your soul. You can throw away your soul to him for no good reason, but you don’t have to.

Don’t give the Devil a win he doesn’t deserve. He doesn’t deserve your soul. Don’t give it to him.
