Sometimes random thoughts come to my mind and I know it’s good to write them down and perhaps even share them with someone. Here are 5 thoughts I’ve had this morning that I want to share with you.
- I’m so thankful to have good friends who want to spend time with me.
Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
- Satan is very much at work in our society. He loves it when Christians allow opinions to cause divisions so that we take our focus off of Jesus and put it on ourselves.
1 Peter 5:8 – “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
- Working in the Kingdom of Christ has great rewards. It’s an honor to be able to concentrate everyday on expanding the church in our community.
1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
- Young people set wonderful examples. We would be wise to emulate their behavior and actions. Its amazing what they can to for the cause of Christ. I want to be more bold like Emerson Beebe.
1 Timothy 4:12 – “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
- Teaching teenagers takes just as much study as teaching adults. It’s important to study the Word of God and be prepared to offer Bible classes to teens that are full of substance.
2 Timothy 2:15 – Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
I hope this encourages you. Its mentally healthy to write down your thoughts and I’m sure it’s spiritually good for you too.
For the Lord,
Alex
