Family Day at NHCOC is not like any other Sunday together. It is spectacularly different and special. It is special in that we have the opportunity to invite our family and friends and those in the community to come worship with us. You know we will have incredible worship with beautiful singing and a dynamic guest speaker. This year we are so excited to have Steve Norris with us to talk to us about sending the light. Specifically, encouraging us to be evangelistic with our family and friends. You will NOT want to miss this it.
Every year you can count on us enjoying a fantastic great meal with delicious food (This year we will have BBQ pulled pork, grilled chicken, potato salad, slaw, baked beans, and yummy cakes for dessert). We always have fantastic fun in fellowship with each other. Loving and sharing time and camaraderie. Afterward, we will have some time of singing led by men and young boys of our congregation.
We have a long history here at NHCOC, and for some of you, you have attended years and years of family days. For others, this is your first one. Here is my advice: Make Family Day 2022 memorable. Here’s how:
- Make it a priority over everything else to be here with your church family.
- Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to worship with you on Sunday.
- The sermon is titled “Send the Light.” Talk it up with people.
- Pray that we can reach our visitors and that we welcome them with open arms.
- Be excited about being with each other and never take it for granted.
This Sunday will be a special Family Day, and we are excited that you will be there. Bring someone with you.
