Family Day is a special Sunday here at NHCOC. It is special in that we have the opportunity to invite our family and friends and those in the community to come worship with us. You know we will have incredible worship with beautiful singing and a dynamic guest speaker (This year, it’s Jason Almond from the Oppelo Church of Christ). You know we will have a great meal with delicious food (This year we will have BBQ pulled pork, chicken, potato salad, slaw and yummy cakes and cookies for dessert). You know we will have fantastic fun in fellowship with each other. Loving and sharing time and camaraderie.
We have a long history here at NHCOC, and for some of you, you have attended years and years of family days. For others, this is your first one. Here is my advice: Make Family Day 2021 memorable. Here’s how:
- Make it a priority over everything else to be here with your church family.
- Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to worship with you on Sunday.
- The sermon is titled “My friend I recommend.” Talk it up with people.
- Pray that we can reach our visitors and that we welcome them with open arms.
- Be excited about being with each other and never take it for granted.
This Sunday will be a special Family Day, and we are excited that you will be there. Bring someone with you.
