…but you won’t hear me complaining. On the contrary, I echo the words of the Apostle Paul, who said about himself:

…having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

(2 Corinthians 6:10)

Paul was a sinner, a murderer, and a hate-filled man. Then he met Jesus and everything changed. All that he used to be disappeared. It was washed away in the blood, and removed by the Grace of the Lord. Every evil deed and every wicked thought is now taken away. Before he met the Lord, Paul was successful, popular, and influential. Then he met Jesus and everything changed. All that he used to be disappeared. He used to have everything, now he has nothing…and he couldn’t be happier.

God has taken everything from me. All my sins are taken away. All my guilt is removed. All my crimes have been undone. It’s all been wiped clean. It’s all been washed. Everything I ever did to deserve hell might as well have never happened. My entire existence has been undone. It has been killed, buried, and left behind, while a new existence has begun in its place, one without any of the old tagging along.

God has taken everything from me.

Thank God.
