Going into the all the world evangelistically can be overwhelming if we let it. I mean, think about it. There are 8 billion people in the world today, and it is expected to reach 10 billion in the next 30 years or so. That’ so many people. That’s so many souls. How can we reach all of them? How can we obey the command to go into the whole world and preach to everyone?

Simple, we think one soul at a time and preach our hearts out.

But before we go to anyone, even across the street to our neighbors, we must begin with ourselves. You are that first, one soul. So consider…

Are you a disciple? Are you following the path? Are you evolving? Are you obeying? It’s crucial to delve deep into your heart and preach the gospel to every part of you. Transform your heart, soul, and mind to love God like never before. Make the necessary changes within you, first.

But before we go to anyone, even across the street, to our neighbors, we must go to our own families.

Are you making disciples of your children? Are you showing them the path? Are you helping them evolve? Are you showing them how to obey? It is important not to take the Great Commission as a huge task that seems impossible but as a responsibility you have to yourself and your kids, first. Let it begin with you and your family. Teach yourself and teach your children. Those 9,999,999,999 other people have a responsibility to do the same. It begins with you.

Going into all the world is not so scary after all when we consider the one closest to us first. Start with who you know. Look at the person in the mirror then the kids down the hall, then the family across the street. This method is patterned in scripture as Jesus commanded his disciples in Acts 1:8, “…and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Start with where you are and then move from there.

For the Lord,
