It’s Tax Day…

…and if you forget to pay up by the end of the day, you’re probably in a heap of trouble.

Maybe not though: The government has been known to grant what they call a “grace period.” These are windows of time where you are given the chance to get things in order and get your check in the mail.

Spiritually, God has also granted us a “Grace period.” Guess what? You’re living in it!

Your life, right now, is the time when you need to be getting things in order and getting your life right, because one day that Grace-period is going to end. When it does, Jesus is going to come to collect, and whether or not He collects you and takes you with Him to Heaven is dependent on what you do with this Grace-period.

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

(Revelation 22:11)

When the Grace-period runs out and Jesus returns, you’re going to be live eternally with the consequences of your actions, whether they be righteous or unrighteous. At least, that’s how I understand the Bible. Either way, Jesus is returning one day. There is a great day coming…

Are you ready?
