Is anyone else feeling the seasonal whirlwind of chaos around them? This time of year is difficult because of how busy it can get. As busy as it might be for you and me, it is important to have a positive Christian attitude while we run about everywhere. Let there be a jingle all the way in our hearts. One way to do this is to not gripe and complain but instead, fill our minds with good things. Don’t take my word for it. Listen to the apostle Paul:

Philippians 2:14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world,

Philippians 4:4Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Simply put:

  1. Don’t gripe. Be blameless
  2. Rejoice always
  3. Dwell on the good things

I know you are busy, and you have a million things to do. I am right there with you. I know you are trying to take care of everyone and everything. I am right there with you. But as we go together in these chaotic times, let’s have these three verses in our minds as we jingle all the way!

I love you,
