When I see someone who has struggled but still has overcome a temptation, trial, or sin. I want to scream from the top of my lungs how proud I am of them and tell them to KEEP IT UP!!!

Some may have had to face addiction. Some have had to face past mistakes. Some have had to face the turmoil of loss. No matter what they faced and how they overcame their bottomless dark pit of despair and hurt, every person has this one thing in common. They all persevered.
Some have to lose everything before they realize they can overcome their struggles. Some recognize it early enough that the consequences are not as severe. But still, they all persevered.
When we overcome difficulties, it is essential to look back and realize that we are still a work in progress. No one should ever look back and arrogantly say, “Now I have overcome and am accomplished.” Instead, the overcomer looks back and realizes from whence they came and looks to the future and says, “I gotta long way to go. I’ve gotta keep it up!”
You can do this. You are not alone! We are all facing something, and we all can face it together with God’s help.
Isaiah 41:10 – Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Let’s just keep it up because, in the end, it is worth it!
Romans 8:18 – For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
God’s word shows us how to walk through those times of difficulty. It reminds us of his love, tells us about His purposes, encourages us to persevere, and strengthens us in the process.
Keep it up!
I love you,
Alexander
