A word of encouragement goes a long way. In our LIFE Group last Sunday we talked for a minute about how we can use words to encourage and lift other people. We realized that it is important not to let those moments go by without saying an encouraging word. It can make all the difference in someone’s life. Take the moment and let them know.

We think it’s important to say thank you, please, yes ma’am and yes sir; and it is. Let’s take it a step further with a positive twist. How about we make sure to say words that will lift someone’s spirits. We have all had those terrible days where nothing seems to be going good. How great it would be if you were encouraged and praised by someone and it lifted you out of the dumps. Let’s remember to do the same for others.

Have you heard this phrase? “If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all”.
Let’s take it a step further with a positive twist. Say something nice if you are going to say anything at all.”

Find someone today and encourage them. We all have those people we rely on in our lives that encourage us, right? Let’s take it a step further with a positive twist. Encourage the encourager. Send them a text, email, make the call or go visit them. Encourage each other. Be together. Let them know how much you appreciate them and love them.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.

I love you,
~ Alex
