Here at North Heights, we are blessed with elder shepherds who look after us spiritually. They allow us to grow and encourage us to do so. Every Sunday morning, we gather for Bible classes, and from there we dismiss to enter into a time of worship. Every Wednesday night, we gather at 6:30 for a brief devotional and then disperse to attend Bible classes. Everyone benefits from these gatherings. On Sunday nights, we are not as traditional. But, hey, that’s okay, and it’s a good thing because it gives us the opportunity to be more intentional about what we do. Here’s the basic rundown:
- 1st & 3rd Sunday Nights – LIFE GROUPS (September -May)
- 2nd Sunday Nights – Devotional & Fellowship Meal
- 4th Sunday Nights – Day of Purpose (Intentionally look for ways to serve others and enjoy fellowship)
- 5th Sundays – Themed Potluck Meal after Morning worship (no evening services)
But for a moment, let me highlight our Life Groups since they are kicking off again on September 21st, 2025.
First of all, remember that Life Groups are designed to be opportunities for growth and learning. It is a small group Bible study in your home that will allow you to get to know a group of people, pray together, and learn more about each other as you study the Bible together. It is a personal and warm environment. These are not just times to hang out with your church friends in a social setting. Each group has a leader or two and is intended to be a time of Bible study and discussion. We believe in this ministry because it gives us a chance to connect on a deeper level, not just with each other but with Scripture.
Please take the opportunity to join a group today.
Blessings!
