Sunday I’m preaching a sermon centered around this phrase “God is able”. It’s inspired by Ephesians 3:20-21. The other day I was studying through this passage, and I got emotional while reading it. Read this yourself and see how it makes you feel. What emotions are stirred within you?

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Here Paul gives great praise to God for all that He is able to do, which is everything and anything. God’s ability is “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” It is beyond our imagination or anything that we might dream up. What more could we ask? God knows what to do and is able to do it. With this in mind, Paul sees this as an opportunity to praise Him for what he is able to do. We should join in on this praise.

Sunday we will talk about how God is able to provide:

Comfort, Counsel, and Correction.

Make it a priority to be here. I believe this is the message we all need to hear right now.

Bring someone with you to worship and let’s learn about how God is able.

I love you,

Alexander Mills
