On Sunday afternoon there will be several of us that will be meeting up at the building to work and clean a few things up. We do this simply because we love the Lord. There are multiple other things that we could be doing but this is important and a task that needs to be accomplished. It will make serving the Lord later on even easier.

Some people are going to work in the 5th and 6th-grade classroom getting it ready for the ACTS class that is starting up in September on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

(Side note: If you have a child in the 5th and 6th-grade class, be expecting a letter in the mail outlining what the plans are starting this fall and how you need to be involved with your child’s biblical education. )

Ok.. back to work…

There is also a group that will be working in the bus barn cleaning and organizing to make it a more functional space. There are things that need to be thrown away and things that need to be put away. We need to be able to use this space for how it is designed to be used.

There is also a group that will be working to move a few old books and get a classroom ready for a new 20s and 30s class that will be starting up this fall, too. I know more announcements with more details will be given soon to describe this class and how you (the 20s & 30s) can be involved and participate. I know you are in for a great class and an opportunity for spiritual growth.

There is also a group that needs to work in the Bible Discover Room cleaning and organizing. This room has VBS materials and old classroom equipment that needs to be discarded or repurposed. We want to make this room ready so that when we can start up our LIFE Groups again we are ready with a room dedicated to our children that makes it easy for them to discover the truths found in the Bible.

Here’s the point to all of this…

  • There is work to be done.
  • We have plans with purpose.
  • We can do this work together.
  • God will be glorified.

Now, that is a great Sunday afternoon Day of Purpose!

What are you purposely planning for Sunday?

Make plans to purposely help us.

I love you,

Alex
