QUEST FOR CHRIST

The NHYG is leaving for a youth rally called Christ Quest this weekend in Mountain Home, AR. It got me thinking about how we all need to be searching for Christ. Imagine a lifelong commitment to learning to transform ourselves into being more like Jesus. Think about how this quest enriches our souls and strengthens our spirits. The quest for Christ invites us to dive deeply into Jesus’ teachings, discovering His love and grace.

People are constantly searching for what will make them happy, what will feel good, and what will bring prosperity, love, fulfillment, and success. I’m here to tell you: You will not find any of that in this world. Only if you will quest for Christ will you truly find your purpose. The quest for Christ inspires us to live for him and serve others. We learn about what He teaches and are encouraged by the command to teach it to others, helping them start their quest for Christ. This is a lifelong, rewarding adventure, and we must constantly be reminded to stay on track.

The reward for questing for Christ reaches into your life and impacts your relationships with everyone around you.

Do you want a better home life? QUEST FOR CHRIST!

Do you want a better marriage? QUEST FOR CHRIST!

Do you want to enjoy the small moments of an early morning? QUEST FOR CHRIST!

Do you want to learn to deal with the difficulties around you? QUEST FOR CHRIST!

Do you want a better understanding of how to deal with people? QUEST FOR CHRIST!

Do you want a peace that surpasses all understanding? QUEST FOR CHRIST!

If you are questing for world things, refocus this weekend and begin your QUEST FOR CHRIST again!

For the Lord,

Alex Mills
