Today is the end of the week. Most kids have been back to school for a few days now and most parents are happy and excited for their little ones. For most, Friday is probably their most favorite work day. It is certainly one of mine. It means the WEEKEND IS HERE!
When Friday comes, perhaps you start thinking about your weekend plans. Maybe, you are going out for dinner and a movie or stay in for a family game night. When Saturday morning rolls around you might have plans to help a brother move from Newark to Southside (Jim and Diane LaRue are moving tomorrow and could sure use your help at 8am). Perhaps you are planning on getting some yard work done and tackling that project that you have been putting off. No matter what your weekend plans are the beginning of the week is also right around the corner and that means its going to be time to worship with your brothers and sisters in Christ on Sunday morning here at North Heights.
Plan accordingly. Think about what you can do over the next couple of days that will help you prepare both physically and spiritually to be ready to worship the Lord this coming Sunday. See you all then.
Hebrews: 10:24-25 – Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
