Christmas time is when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. And the story of Christ’s birth begins on that night in the stable, right? Wrong. The story of Jesus begins 9 months earlier when a young girl receives some shocking news.

“Then angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.” … “And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:30-31, 38)

Jesus walking on this Earth didn’t start with his birth, it started with faith and submission on the part of Mary. Granted, if she had opted out, God’s plan would have moved forward with someone else. But because she decided that she was the servant of the Lord, Jesus had a way to come to the Earth to love, heal, and forgive.

Jesus still has the chance to come be on the Earth loving, healing, and forgiving. He can do it through you. You can show His love. You can spread His healing. You can forgive.

What it takes on your part is faith and submission. How are you willing show that you are the servant of the Lord?

Merry Christmas!!!!!
