The Word of God is the most wonderous document ever to have been created. Its perfection, strength, reliability, and counsel cannot be surpassed. The Psalmist makes the point in Psalm 119:

Verse 18 – Open my eyes, that I may behold wonderous things out of your law.

Verse 27  Make me understand the way of your precepts, and I will meditate on your wonderous works.

Verses 96 – I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.

God’s word has no limits. It is wonderous and exceedingly beyond anything we can imagine. It deserves great dedication from us who want to live our lives in subjection to it. Don’t just read through God’s word flippantly. Take time with it. Meditate on it and put it into practice. Be consumed by God’s word and long for it to be taught to you. Be delighted by it when you read and hear it. Be challenged by it and change your ways to be in accordance to it.

Next time you pick up the Bible, realize that what you have in your hands is the wonderous Word of God.

I love you,

Alexander
