Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today is a special Tuesday in that the date is 2/22/22, and if you are reading this at 2:22 this afternoon, it makes it that much more fun! Whatever the case, let’s have some fun with it.

Too often, we allow a phrase or a cliche to define us or various events in our lives. One such cliche used too often is, “That was too little, too late.”We say this when an event occurs, or a gift is given might not be what we were expecting, or it might not have arrived in a timely fashion. I’m guilty of having said this phrase just recently. It’s really not a very positive thing to say. To be honest, I think it’s a little too negative, so I’m going to begin to refrain from using it from now on. Instead, I need to have an attitude of gratitude, and I bet you do, too

Here are a few things to help us do this together:

  1. Pay attention to what is going right in your life.
  2. Notice all the blessings that God gives to you every day.
  3. Start making a list in a journal of what you were grateful for each day to read over.
  4. Make it a habit to comment on all the good things around you, no matter how small they might be.
  5. Practice giving compliments to build confidence in yourself and others too!

An attitude of gratitude is fostered in your life when you think about good and positive things. See what Paul wrote these two verses:

Philippians 4:8-9 – “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”

Have a terrific Tuesday!

I love you, too
