Last night our 2022 VBS kicked off with 300 people in attendance. To say that’s an amazing number would be underselling the meaning of the word amazing. To be honest, I was hoping for 200 people. I worried the heat would keep people away. I worried gas prices would keep people away. I worried the lingering Covid hangover would keep people.
Instead the people came forth and much fun and learning was had. Praise the Lord for it.
Last night was only the beginning. If you missed it, worry not: Tonight the magic continues. Be here at 6:30pm and be amazed.
Don’t have little kids? We have teen classes!
Don’t have any kids? We have adult classes!
Have something better to do? You do not!
Your favorite TV show isn’t going anywhere. That book you’re in the middle of will still be there when you get home. If you’re tired from work and that recliner is calling your name, don’t sit down; come to VBS and the sounds of children lifting their voices in praise to God will awaken your spirits (and the sound of them singing Booster will awaken the rest of you).
Don’t be that guy, that Luke 14:18 guy. No more excuses. Come to VBS!
