Tomorrow night, Bob Turner will be here to conduct a seminar on leadership. You might not think a subject like that applies to you, but it does. Every Christian is called to serve, which means every Christian will, at one time or another, in one way or another, be called upon to lead. After all, in Christianity, what is a leader? My definition of a leader is this: “A leader is a servant at the front of the line.” Whether you are a wise old man, a confident young man, a demure old lady, or a gracious young lady, everyone is called to serve, and everyone has opportunities to lead, to step up to the plate, to take the first step, or to act alone when no one else will. This weekend is all about learning how to be an effective leader, how to better hone our God-given abilities and our God-called directive to lead by serving and to serve by leading.

Bob will also be here on Sunday, teaching the morning class and preaching a sermon to us. After we dismiss, we will all enjoy a catered meal together in our Fellowship Hall.
