It was not that long ago that Kira and I were laying in our bed about to close our eyes to sleep for the night and we began talking about how the Lord has blessed us here at NHCOC and in Batesville. Now don’t get me wrong we have our own struggles and trials, temptations and sin we have to overcome. But when we stop and take a picture of our lives we feel really, really, blessed. You have a lot to do with it. But not all of it. A matter of fact you have nothing to do with it. Really, it is God using you to be part of that feeling of blessing we enjoy. Okay, to be completely transparent its God working in our lives blessing us over and over and over again.

I am reminded of this verse time and time again in my life.

Ephesians 3:20-21
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen.

Here Paul gives great praise to God for all that He is able to do. Which is everything and anything. God ability is “exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think”. It is beyond our imagination or anything that we might dream up. What more could we ask. God knows what to do and is able to do it.

With this in mind, Paul sees this as an opportunity to praise Him for what he is able to do. We should join in on this praise.

Praise Him for the church!
Praise Him for Christ Jesus!
Praise Him for all the generations after us that will be part of this power that works within us!

Glory to Him who is able to do more than anything we could ever ask!
